Double Homicide Discovered After Welfare Check

Nikita Casap, a Wisconsin teenager, now faces both state and federal charges in a case that has shocked the quiet community of Waukesha County.

The bodies of Tatiana Casap and Donald Mayer were discovered on February 28 when sheriff's deputies conducted a welfare check at their home.

Both victims had been shot to death, and investigators believe the killings occurred more than two weeks earlier, on February 11.

Perhaps most disturbing was what wasn't at the scene - Mayer's SUV and the couple's teenage son were nowhere to be found.

Cross-Country Manhunt Ends in Kansas

That same evening, police in WaKeeney, Kansas - over 700 miles away - conducted a routine traffic stop that would break the case wide open.

Officers discovered Casap behind the wheel of his stepfather's stolen SUV.

Inside the vehicle, authorities found a treasure trove of evidence: $14,000 in cash, over $14,000 worth of jewelry, and a .357 Magnum revolver that had been purchased by Mayer.

But what investigators would soon uncover on the teen's phone would reveal a plot far more sinister than anyone could have imagined.

Extremist Connections and Disturbing Manifesto

A search warrant executed on Casap's phone revealed material related to "The Order of Nine Angles," described in FBI documents as "a network of individuals holding neo-Nazi racially motivated extremist views."

Investigators discovered a three-page manifesto that called for Trump's assassination as a means to trigger political revolution in the United States.

"As to why, specifically Trump, I think it's pretty obvious. By getting rid of the president and perhaps the vice president, that is guaranteed to bring in some chaos," read one excerpt from the document.

The manifesto also contained images of Adolf Hitler alongside text glorifying white supremacy.

From Parental Murder to Presidential Assassination

According to federal investigators, Casap's alleged murder of his parents wasn't simply an act of teenage rebellion.

The killings appeared to be a calculated first step in a much larger plan.

The affidavit states that murdering his parents provided Casap with the "financial means and autonomy" needed to carry out his assassination plot against President Trump.

A classmate later told authorities that Casap had previously spoken about killing his parents because he lacked access to a gun.

Technological Weapons and Foreign Connections

The FBI's investigation uncovered evidence that Casap's plans extended far beyond conventional methods.

His phone contained images and messages detailing how to convert a drone into an attack weapon.

Even more alarming, investigators found evidence that he had already made partial payments for a drone and explosives intended for an attack.

But perhaps the most shocking revelation came from the foreign connection allegedly uncovered by investigators.

The Russian Connection and Escape Plan

According to the federal affidavit, Casap told a classmate he was in contact with someone in Russia and they were planning to overthrow the U.S. government and assassinate President Trump.

This wasn't just idle talk. Investigators discovered Telegram messages showing Casap had planned to flee to Ukraine after carrying out his plot.

In one message, he asked, "So while in Ukraine, I'll be able to live a normal life? Even when it's found out I did it?"

The FBI is now pursuing three federal charges against the teen: presidential assassination, conspiracy, and use of weapons of mass destruction.

These charges come in addition to nine state felony charges in Wisconsin, including two counts of first-degree murder and two counts of hiding a corpse.

Casap is scheduled to appear for arraignment on May 7 in Waukesha County court. He has not yet entered pleas on any of the state charges, and CNN reports that attempts to reach his attorneys for comment have been unsuccessful.
