The Ultimate Crack Burger

This incredibly addictive burger has earned its nickname for good reason. Featuring a perfect blend of Hidden Valley Ranch seasoning, sharp cheddar cheese, and a special mayo-based topping, this burger delivers an explosion of flavors that will keep you coming back for more.

While demonstrated on a Blackstone griddle, this recipe can easily be adapted for a regular pan or grill.

Ingredients

For the Patties:

  • 80/20 ground hamburger
  • Hidden Valley Ranch seasoning
  • SPG (salt, pepper, garlic) seasoning

For the Cheese Mixture:

  • 4 oz sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/4 cup Duke’s mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup crumbled bacon
  • Hidden Valley Ranch seasoning

Additional Items:

  • Hamburger buns
  • Melted butter
  • Chopped onions

Step 1: Season the Patties

Season both sides of the hamburger patties with Hidden Valley Ranch seasoning and SPG.

Pat the seasonings into the meat and season the edges as well.

Step 2: Prepare the Cheese Mixture

Add about 1/4 cup of Duke’s mayonnaise to a mixing bowl.

Add Hidden Valley Ranch seasoning to the mayonnaise.

Shred the sharp cheddar cheese and add to the mixture.

Add crumbled bacon and mix thoroughly.

Step 3: Prepare the Buns

Brush melted butter on the hamburger buns.

Step 4: Cook the Burgers

Place the seasoned patties on the hot griddle or pan.

Flip the burgers when properly seared on the first side.

Step 5: Cook the Onions

Add chopped onions to the griddle and sauté until softened.

Top each burger with sautéed onions.
