Government employee who was supposed to catch food stamp fraud instead helped criminals steal 66 million from taxpayers
The person meant to protect food stamp benefits from criminals was actually working with them the entire time.
And the scale of what they pulled off will leave you speechless.

A New Sheriff in Town
The Trump administration just delivered on one of its biggest campaign promises – rooting out government waste and corruption.
Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins announced what she called “one of the largest stings” in USDA history during a Friday morning interview.
Six people are now behind bars, including a federal employee who was supposed to be catching food stamp fraudsters.
“This is a new day, and President Trump promised, as he was traveling across the country over the last few years, that it would not be the government that we know.”

The Investigation That Changed Everything
Working alongside the FBI and U.S. attorney’s office, the USDA uncovered a conspiracy that had been operating right under their noses.
The scheme involved creating fake applications, stealing license numbers, and doctoring official documents.
But the real shocker was who was helping them do it.

A Promise Kept
Secretary Rollins made it clear this is just the beginning of Trump’s war on government waste.
“At [the] USDA, we are hyper-focused… on rooting out that waste, fraud and abuse.”
The new administration is taking a completely different approach than previous years.
No more looking the other way when taxpayer money gets stolen.

The Network That Fooled Everyone
The operation was more sophisticated than anyone imagined.
Starting in 2019, the criminal network had spread across 160 stores throughout the New York area.
They were processing millions in illegal transactions right under the government’s nose.
But they needed someone on the inside to make it all work.

The Ultimate Betrayal Revealed
USDA employee Arlasa Davis was supposed to catch food stamp criminals.
Instead, she was selling them confidential government information to help their illegal operation succeed.
Michael Kehoe led the network that created 160 unauthorized electronic benefit transfer cards, processing over $30 million in fraudulent EBT transactions.
The total damage? A staggering $66 million stolen from American taxpayers through the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program.
“This fraud was made possible when USDA employee Arlasa Davis betrayed the public trust by selling confidential government information to the very criminals she was supposed to catch,” U.S. Attorney Perry Carbone explained.
Five others – Mohamad Nawafleh, Omar Alrawashdeh, Gamal Obaid, Emad Alrawashdeh, and the network’s mastermind – are now facing federal charges for conspiracy to steal government funds.

More Busts Coming
Secretary Rollins warned this is just the tip of the iceberg.
“This is not the ‘one and only.’ There are going to be many more to come, and we’re gonna make sure that we’re delivering on our promises to the taxpayers.”
The Trump administration is sending a clear message – the days of government employees helping criminals steal from hardworking Americans are over.
Real consequences are finally coming to those who break the law in America’s federal government.
