Biden administration gave work permit to Egyptian who burned Israeli supporters alive in Boulder
A shocking terror attack in Boulder has exposed how the Biden administration granted work authorization to an illegal immigrant who would later set fire to peaceful protesters supporting Israeli hostages.
The horrific details of what happened next reveal a disturbing pattern of failed immigration policies.

Terror Strikes at Peaceful Hostage Rally
Mohamed Sabry Soliman, 45, launched his brutal attack at 1:26 p.m. on Sunday near the Boulder County courthouse on Pearl Street.
His targets were innocent people participating in a “Run for Their Lives” event – a peaceful gathering calling for the release of Israeli hostages held by Hamas since October 7, 2023.
Witnesses heard Soliman screaming “Free Palestine” and “We have to end Zionists, they are killers” as he set his victims ablaze.
Eight people, ranging in age from 52 to 88, were injured in the horrific attack that Boulder Police Chief Steve Redfearn described as involving a weapon and setting people on fire.

A Pattern of Failed Border Security
The attack occurred on the eve of Shavuot, a significant Jewish holiday, making the timing particularly disturbing.
Colorado Attorney General Phil Weiser immediately recognized the hate crime nature of the attack, stating it “appears to be a hate crime given the group that was targeted.”
FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino confirmed the investigation is proceeding as an act of “ideologically motivated violence” based on early evidence and witness accounts.
But the most shocking revelation was yet to come about how Soliman remained in the country.

The Biden Administration’s Role
Department of Homeland Security and ICE sources revealed the disturbing timeline to Fox News.
Soliman flew into Los Angeles International Airport on August 27, 2022, on a B1/B2 non-immigrant visa during the Biden administration.
He was authorized to stay only through February 26, 2023, but never left the country as required.
On September 29, 2022, he filed what officials believe was an asylum claim.

Work Authorization Despite Illegal Status
Here’s where the Biden administration’s immigration policies become most troubling.
On March 29, 2023, United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) granted Soliman work authorization under the Biden administration.
This work permit remained valid through March of this year – meaning the government was actively enabling an illegal immigrant to remain and work in the country.
The decision came more than a month after his legal status had already expired, yet bureaucrats chose to reward his illegal presence with employment authorization.

National Security Implications
The attack has prompted increased security measures nationwide.
The New York City Police Department immediately increased officers at religious sites for Shavuot, with “high visibility patrols and heavy weapons teams.”
Israel’s Ambassador to the UN, Danny Danon, warned that terrorism against Jews “does not stop at the Gaza border – it is already burning the streets of America.”
“Make no mistake – this is not a political protest, this is terrorism,” Danon stated.
Simon Wiesenthal Center CEO Jim Berk connected the attack to broader anti-Israel sentiment, saying both this incident and recent embassy shootings are “the direct result of months of anti-Israel propaganda.”

The Boulder attack represents a devastating failure of the Biden administration’s immigration system – one that granted work authorization to someone who had already violated immigration law and would go on to commit acts of terror against innocent Americans.
As Soliman sits in Boulder County Jail, serious questions remain about how many other potential threats have been enabled by similarly reckless policies.
