Best Ever Roasted Sweet Potatoes Recipe

These roasted sweet potatoes will hands down be your best way of preparing this delicious side dish. The sweet potatoes are soft inside and caramelized outside, making them perfect for any holiday gathering.
Ingredients
- 3 large sweet potatoes ( i recommend using fresh newly bought sweet potatoes, they taste the best)
- 3 Tbs olive oil
- 1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1 Tbs brown sugar
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- salt and pepper to your taste taste ( i used about 1 and 1/2 tsp salt and 1/4 tsp black pepper)
Instructions below!

To begin, you’ll need three large sweet potatoes. Start by peeling them and then cut each potato lengthwise. Slice each half into three equal parts.

Next, cut the potatoes into evenly sized cubes to ensure they cook evenly. Once you’ve finished cutting, transfer the cubes into a large mixing bowl.

Drizzle some olive oil over the sweet potatoes and toss everything together thoroughly.

Now, it’s time to season! Add garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, brown sugar, and ground cinnamon. These ingredients will enhance the natural sweetness and flavor of the sweet potatoes.

Don’t forget to season with salt and pepper to taste, and mix everything well again.

Once mixed, pour the sweet potatoes into a well-greased baking pan. It’s crucial to grease the pan to prevent sticking.

Arrange the sweet potatoes in a single layer, ensuring they are spaced out properly for even roasting.

Preheat your oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit. You’ll roast the sweet potatoes for 30 to 35 minutes.

Every 10 minutes, take the sweet potatoes out and toss them with a spatula. This will help prevent burning and ensure even cooking.

When they are done, check for doneness by piercing them with a toothpick. They should be soft inside.

After 30 minutes in the oven, your sweet potatoes should come out flavorful and beautifully caramelized. They make a fantastic side dish for any holiday meal.
